This Privacy Policy describes how BananaERP (“we,” “our,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application, BananaERP Pulse.
BananaERP Pulse is a business tool designed exclusively for clients of our services. Its purpose is to allow the real-time visualization of sales and collection metrics. This policy complements the Master Services Agreement accepted by your organization.
2. Our Role: Data Processor
To ensure transparency in how your data is handled, we define roles according to international privacy standards:
- The Client (Your Organization): Acts as the Data Controller. They are the legal owner of the financial data, client lists, and sales records.
- BananaERP: We act as the Data Processor. We provide the technological infrastructure to process and display the data following your organization’s instructions.
3. Information We Collect
Our application operates under a privacy-by-design principle, collecting only the essential technical data required for connection:
A. Access Data
To authenticate your identity, we process:
- Workspace ID.
- Email address.
- Password (encrypted).
B. Technical and Connection Data
- Server Logs: IP address and connection timestamps for security purposes.
- Business Data: The app displays sales and collection data transmitted in real time.
C. What We DO NOT Collect
In the current version of the application:
- We do not access your location (GPS).
- We do not access your camera, microphone, or contacts.
- We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools.
- We do not store files on your device.
4. Storage and Security (No Local Cache)
BananaERP Pulse operates as a “thin client.” This means:
- Online Operation: The application does not store financial data (“cache”) in your phone’s internal memory. If you log out or lose your internet connection, the data is no longer visible on the device, ensuring that sensitive information is not exposed in case of phone loss or theft.
- Data Location: Our servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Virginia region, United States.
- Encryption: All communication between the app and our servers is protected using high-standard SSL/TLS encryption.
5. Use of Information
We use data exclusively to:
- Verify your credentials and access permissions.
- Display your organization’s updated KPIs.
- Maintain the security and stability of the service.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal or business data with third parties. We only share data with our infrastructure provider (AWS) under strict confidentiality agreements.
6. Data Ownership and User Rights
In accordance with our Master Services Agreement:
- Ownership: Databases and financial information belong exclusively to the Client (your organization). The Client has the right to back up and export their data at any time.
- Your Rights: If you wish to exercise your rights to access, rectify, cancel, or oppose the processing of your personal data, please contact your organization’s system administrator directly. BananaERP will assist your organization in fulfilling these requests.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if we introduce new features in the future (such as notifications or geolocation). We will notify you of important changes before they take effect.
